Diane McGowan was claiming Income Support, Housing Benefit and Council Tax Benefit as a single woman.
She failed to declare that she had been married since 1994 and her husband (who worked full time) lived with her.
She will be forced to pay back nearly 23k in benefits and recived a sentence of 8 months which was suspended for two years.
